My Improbable Sisters

screenplay by PAUL GORDOn & DAVID GOLDSMITH ‣ Music by Paul Gordon
Lyrics by DAVID GOLDSMITH, with additional lyrics by Paul Gordon
Directed by DAVID GOLDSMITH ‣ Produced by Virtual stage Lab & MELODY MUNITZ

About my IMPROBABLE SISTERS ‣ RACHEL STEIN is coming back from what Paul Simon once might have called "a little bit of a breakdown." For the last two years since her father’s death, she’s stopped all contact with her family—her four eccentric sisters and overbearing mother—save telling them that she’s moved to Connecticut and believes life is a computer-generated simulation. Now, on the first night of Chanukah, she’s invited them all to convene, reconcile, and if possible, celebrate. Nagging at her subconscious, however, is the insistent presence of a little-known civil rights icon, whose story has led Rachel to discover a shocking family secret that must be brought to light on this night.
